5 Foods For Libido
Oh yeah, we’re in for a sexy one, today.
I’m going to cut right to the chase - the title says it all and you’re already here, I don’t need to sell you on anything. Here are 5 foods to improve your libido:
Oysters - a personal favorite of mine (42 oysters in one sitting is my PR). Zinc is the name of the game here with this delicacy. Zinc plays a vital role in testosterone and reproductive health.
Dark Chocolate - feel good endorphins & flavonoids that improve circulation can enhance arousal and mood. Ironically, both arousal and a good mood are needed for… well, you get the joke.
Avocados - healthy fats, vitamin E and potassium here help support hormone production and cardio health. A healthy ticker lets hot blood run thicker.
Pomegranate - antioxidants in this food help promote circulation, boost testosterone (for men and women) and can improve your mood.
Maca Root - an adaptogen that helps alleviate stress and acts on the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, regulating hormone signaling, mood and energy.
Honorable mentions: overall nutrition, sleep, stress management and relationship dynamics. Obviously not foods, but clearly very important players in libido (and I’d be remiss to not acknowledge them).
