If your actions don’t reflect the goal you have, you don’t have a goal, you have a pipe dream.

“What is your goal? And do your actions reflect that goal?” I ask my athletes this all the time.

The concept is so simple - or at least, it feels that way.

It’s human nature to overcomplicate our problems.
We’re going to fix that today.

What is your goal?

To get in shape?
To regain your vigor?
To become more calm?
To organize and declutter?

See how many ways I can just say: to improve your well being? Complicated, right?

This is what separates “trainers” from actual coaches: simplifying all the noise.

Let’s make the goal more clear: pick one of those things.

To get more in shape.‍ ‍
Great.

What does that mean to you?

To have more energy?
To get better results in the gym?
To sleep better?

Pick one of the above:
To have more energy.

Now, you’re on the right path.

What actions can we take TODAY that will lead to this goal of having more energy?

Getting an extra hour of sleep.
Adding more protein to the diet.
Adding an extra serving of fruit or veg to a meal.
Adding a 10 minute walk at some point throughout the day.

The things that make the biggest impact seem like the smallest in the present.

You can’t tell me getting an extra hour of sleep each night for 2 weeks won’t have you feeling brand new.
That extra serving of veg each day? Micronutrients galore. You’re welcome.

So pick your goal.
Then pick an action that reflects that goal.
Implement it today and let them stack over time.

Complex -> Simple.

Simple steps solve complex problem and it’s as easy as starting now.
